Functionally identical to the BoatOfficer Blue with the addition of a separate SOS button.

When the SOS button is pressed (5 s press), an alarm is sent to the smartphones connected via app. The BoatOfficer sends in SOS mode with highest transmission power every 30 s the current GPS position. Persons receiving this alarm can indicate in the app that they are coming to help. In that case it will also be indicated on the BoatOfficer that help is on the way.

Ideal therefore for sailing schools or rental. A silent alarm with more range than a whistle and yet without immediately requesting a SAR helicopter.

Prerequisites

• Smartphone: iOS 13 or later or Android 5.1
• LoRaWAN coverage from TheThingsNetwork (see Technology)
